Helping You Get on Track For a Better, Stronger, Healthier YOU!
During Rehabilitation, it is important to keep the body moving and with proper rotation to help heal the area needing rehab. It is important to find the right pieces of equipment that will help accommodate the process. All of these pieces can be used by the "fit" individual but have some specialty options that are catered to help rehab individuals. Check with your Doctor or Therapist to see if these are right for you!
Things to look for when in rehab, have little balance control, weak muscles, heavy weight and repairing body parts from injury or surgery
1) Treadmills- Slow start speeds, friendly controls, attached kill switch, wide belts, long handles
2) Ellipticals- Easy entry/exit, friendly controls, large footprint, stable frame, friendly handles
3) Exercise Bikes- Preferably recumbent bikes (have back rest), walk thru or easy entry/exit, friendly handles, friendly controls, easy adjustable seat, pedal straps
